“My biggest why is to be the best version of me.”
It is so easy to get caught up in our busy day to day life that we often end up leaving ourselves to be put on the back burner.
We tell ourselves will make time for us later, but *later* then begins to get filled up with something else.
For Stephanie she knew she wanted to get back into shape, but she also knew that she needed to have someone to hold her accountable to do it.
It’s not only to find the motivation to get started. It is also finding the motivation to keep moving forward. To keep putting in the work even on the hard days.
In the summer of 2020 Stephanie made that first step by walking through those doors.
“I wanted to be more fit to run around with my kids and to be able to go up the stairs without getting winded. I wanted to feel better and do this for my day-to-day life.”
Two years later Stephanie is blown away by the progress that she has seen not only in her physical health, but her mental health as well.
It is by her taking this time for herself, to make herself a priority that she can not only continue to show up for herself in her own life, but also able to be the best version of herself for her family and those around her.
“My husband and kids inspire me to keep showing up and push me to do so. They know I need to make this time for me.”
One of the biggest transformations that Stephanie has seen from her time here at CrossFit Function is the confidence that she has gained in herself.
The confidence to try new things and to keep showing up and putting the work in.
“I’ve gained a lot of confidence by being here. I am not afraid to put myself out there and try new things.”
