1. Why did you join CrossFit FUNCTION?
I joined CFF when I was finding that I was getting “flabby” and lacked energy. I chose CFF at the recommendation of my pharmacist, Melody, who was going there and it was situated (then) on my way home. Best thing EVER.
2. What’s been your biggest accomplishment at CFF?
My biggest accomplishment was learning to do a handstand push-up and pulling the gravel truck during our Strongman final (with help of our friendly RCMP Cam).
3. What are you working on now?
I am working very hard at my shoulder press, to try to improve my strength.
4. What’s your favourite CFF memory?
Two of my favorite memories are when Cindy and I took part in the Festivus Games, and the other is our last CrossFit Games Open when I was the last participant and EVERYONE was cheering me on during my workout. The place was really rocking .
5. What motivates you to continue training at CFF?
I found that I work harder when we are held accountable versus workng out at home. I am aging and I know that exercise is fundamental to continue in good health. I am so grateful for the Zoom workouts that CFF is providing.
I can’t wait to get back to the gym with all my gym family as I miss the daily chat and workout together.
We will get through this together.
