For the past 10 years, CrossFit FUNCTION has been, and always will be defined by our Mission Statement and our Core Values. Our Mission Statement is what guides us. We aim to constantly improve the health, fitness, and therefore, quality of life of our clients in an environment that is fun, caring, motivating, safe and inclusive.
From day one, we have always included equality in our mission.
From day one, we set out to make our space a safe space for everyone, regardless of age, race, religion, or orientation.
Racism is repulsive and unacceptable. We have always believed this, and always will. Greg Glassman’s recent words do not reflect our core values or what we stand for.
We also are not Greg Glassman.
We are about the names on the whiteboard, each and every day, just as we have been from the start.
It’s the names on the old whiteboards, who have passed through our doors and high fived each other, and have built lasting relationships that have stood the test of time.
CFF is Taryn Dubreuil, the one who built it with blood, sweat, and tears.
CFF is Trudy, Whitney, Chad, Gayla, Lisa, Dion, Nicole, Bren, Ryan, Taylor, Carli, and Tristen – the ones who have taught you, encouraged you, and have cared for you.
CFF is not Greg Glassman – never has been, never will be.
We have always been about our people – always have been, always will be.
